Support Groups

What to expect

Support groups are a space where individuals can come together to share their stories and experiences. They are very enriching and uplifting, helping us see that there are others who are dealing with similar situations and that we can help each other find joy and healing.

The support groups led by Nisrine are open to up to 10 participants and take place online with a 2-hour weekly meeting for 4 months with a focus on a specific topic as listed below.

Middle-Eastern & Arab Women

  • Be part of a sisterhood and join a support group of 10 women sharing and discussing their experience being Middle-Eastern and Arab.

Multicultural Heritage

  • Join a support group of 10 participants who have all experienced the blessings and challenges of identifying and belonging to two or more cultures.

  • — You identify with more than one culture.

    — You find it difficult to reconcile conflicting demands from multiple cultures, such as different sets of values, norms, assumptions and expected behaviors.

    — You feel that your multicultural heritage is not recognized, understood, and appreciated at work.

Muslim LGBTQ+

  • Join a support group of 10 women who have all experienced the challenges of being part of the LGBTQ+ community while also being of Muslim faith.

War & Refugee Trauma

  • Join a support group of 10 participants who have all experienced war trauma at one point or another in their lifetime.

Love & Sex Addiction

  • Join a support group of 10 participants who are ready to understand and transcend their toxic attachments to love and sex.

Muslim Faith

  • Join a support group of 10 participants who are seeking to heal their inner child with a group of kind, inspiring, and like-minded individuals.
